From the minute I came to see Lydia I knew I was making the right decision, she made me feel so so reassured and we both agreed I was doing this for the right reason. I had always disliked the shape of my nose, particularly side on and when I smiled.

My nose job journey couldn’t have been smoother, I was lucky enough to end up having both Lydia and Charles in for my surgery and they were both so so kind, taking away any nerves I may have felt. From pre op, post op and the following weeks and months and now years they were in constant contact with me, always checking in, providing tips and helping me with my swelling post op. I was instantly so happy with the results and truly they have only ever got better as time has gone on.

Getting a nose job was one of the best decisions I’ve made, the confidence I now feel is amazing, I used to constantly think about my nose and worry about how I looked and it’s so freeing not having those thoughts any more. I wish I hadn't held off for so long and had gone sooner when this is something I have thought about since in my teens.

As soon as I first met Lydia Badia I knew I would trust her with my surgery. She is the kindest woman I have ever met whilst still being professional. I just could not have imagined doing my surgery with anyone else. She understood my wishes perfectly which was to get a more feminine nose and to stop it drooping when I smile. She understood deeply the psychological effects of having a rhinoplasty and discussed this with me a lot. I trusted her so much that I had no nerves going into the surgery, not even in the operating room. She actually called me the day before the surgery to reassure me and to tell me the anesthetist, James, who was also amazing and really lovely. He also texted the night before to check if I had any questions. The whole recovery process was very easy and less painful than having braces. I just took a combo of Nurofen and paracetamol. Lydia called me a couple of times to check that I was ok and the nurse called me every day in my recovery. It barely bled and was all really smooth. When I had my cast taken off I just felt this massive relief flooding through me and it felt as though this massive weight had been taken off my shoulders. It looks so incredibly natural and not ‘done’ it is not too small and perfectly fits my face. Charles and Lydia are truly artists. It was swollen for a couple weeks but improved every day and my confidence grows every single day too. I feel like a different person and I just cannot express my gratitude. Charles and Lydia have changed my life and I will never forget them. I am now so excited to go to university feeling my most confident self and not to worry about what side of my face people are seeing. I just cannot recommend rhinoplasty enough and if you are going to do it, rhinoplasty London is so caring and professional I really reccomend them. Deciding to have a rhinoplasty is a life changing decision and I am so happy I trusted Lydia for mine. From my initial phone consultation with Dr Badia I knew she was the surgeon for me. She talked to me about my options, explained the details of the operation and made me feel so comfortable. I then went to her office and we did many visualisations of what the potential scenarios are, this really showcased her expertise - she is truly an artist! For me, Lydia is the perfect combination of art and science, which is exactly what you need for a successful rhinoplasty. I knew after meeting Dr Badia in person that I wanted to go with her, and I booked my operation shortly after. In the run up to the operation I had a few questions that I emailed, Dr Badia suggested we speak on the phone and we talked about all my questions, this again highlights how generous she is with her time and that her patients comfort level is so important to her. The surgery went amazingly well (as we had both expected but to hear Lydia say it to me after the operation was even better!). Lydia checked in with me every day on the phone as did Giulia who is the sweetest! It made me feel at ease and made the time go by quicker! I did an open ultrasonic septorhinoplasty with alar reduction, and the pain was minimal as was face swelling which mostly subsided by the time of cast removal. They send you a useful guide of what to expect which helps as you wait for your cast to be taken off. Cast removal day was emotional for me as I’ve wanted to get my nose done for a long time. Lydia was by side as Giulia removed the cast and all I could say was WOW! I was thrilled with it! It’s been about 4 weeks since the surgery, aftercare was well explained and I’m loving my new nose. There is swelling which is completely normal, and that will get better and better over the coming months.
