What can be done for my Filipino nose that has wide nostrils and a bulbous tip? (Photos)

Increased support with a columellar cartilage strut taken from you septum combined with reshaping of your tip cartilages and bring in your nostrils with a weir resection keeping the incisions hidden in the nostril floor should give a nice improvement.  You already have a nice nose and are looking for a refinement.  The bridge can be left alone.

You are looking at a Tip Rhinoplasty where the nostrils, alar and domes can be re-shaped. You would require an Open Rhinoplasty followed by cartilage trimming and suturing. This can be achieved with and without grafts depending on the stability of your cartilages. Finally trimming the alar base will reduce your nostril length. The end result would be a narrower, refined nose that gives you confidence.

A good surgeon will always try to make the patient happy, and if you don't want a bigger bridge, then you don't need to have one. A well performed rhinoplasty can make the tip look thinner, but with thick skin, you have to have realistic expectation. Be sure to see a rhinoplasty specialist for consultation.

You have a very attractive face and I feel that some refinement to your nose would be a nice addition to your overall appearance.  You are certainly an excellent candidate for rhinoplasty.  I would caution you that due to the thickness of your tip skin and soft tissue, you and your surgeon should set reasonable expectations with regards to your final outcome.  In this way you will be quite pleased with your results.  An experienced rhinoplasty surgeon will have an open dialogue with you.

I can simply say that your current nose is neither unpleasant nor ugly. I think this is a good result for an ethnic nose with such skin thickness. However, if you wish to carry this to next level, what I'd offer you would be an alarplasty together with a tip refinement. I don't think that your bridge is fuller than it should be, but your tip projection is relatively low. I generally employ some tip grafts in these cases, which end up with a better projection and definition.

If you are looking GOA a narrower appearance to the lower third of your nose, Rhinoplasty may be considered for achieving a narrower appearance. Hope this is helpful. Dr Joseph 

Both a narrowing and a refinement of your tip are possible. In experiences hands, you should expect a natural unaltered result.
In my practice, we try to refine the nose while preserving its essential features. Excessive removal of tip cartilage will cause a ‘done’ or ‘pinched’ look. The same applies for excessive narrowing of the nasal bones, which would impair breathing.
The good news is you already have a pretty nose, so with some refinements, it should look stunning.

Your previous experience with filler has helped you understand what looks best on your face.  Most often times with Asian noses (Filipino noses can vary and have some Spanish features) the nose will often look better with support added rather than support taken away.  Supporting and projecting your tip with your own cartilage via rhinoplasty will create a more durable and substantial change than filler.  In your case, augmenting your bridge should be minimized or avoided (based on photographs and your experience with filler. Alar base reduction can help remove skin and contour the lower 1/3 of the nose helping to narrow the base.  Ethnic rhinoplasty requires a different skill set and aesthetic than traditional rhinoplasty.  Ensure that your surgeon understands how to support the nose, working with different types of skin thicknesses, and has adequate experience in rhinoplasty.Best Dr. Anil Shah

Filipino noses are similar to other ethnicities, like Asian and some Hispanic, in which the skin is a little thicker and the cartilage is a little softer. This prevents definition from being seen on the front view, even though you have a nice profile. Some degree of augmentation is typically required. The amount will depend upon your exam and how much definition you are seeking. Alar base reduction is typically done as well.
