I just came from my pre-op appointment and I am worried/confused about the implant size. I have my BA surgery in 1 week. I have a small frame (athletic built), 5’7 / 120lbs / 12cm Breast width. I still want to be a B and want to stay really small - just a little fuller. I do not want to go more than 240cc (that would be the absolute max!!) and I need to different profiles due to asymmetry. The chart shows a diameter of 10.5 for the 240cc SRF and 195cc for the SRM. Will that still work?

Answer: Implant sizes and types for asymmetry Your own surgeon's office will be the best resource but here are a few things to keep in mind:1. It is not possible to create perfect symmetry2. It is usually important to use implants close to the same diameter. The Inspira sizing chart indicates the the 210 cc SRM implant has the same diameter as the 240 SRF. If the volume difference between your breasts is about 30 cc then that would be a good choice.3. If you are very thin, then consider the Soft Touch Inspira with a slightly firmer gel for less rippling.

Answer: Breast Augmentation Addressing asymmetry can be challenging. Using different profiles or sizes can help to reach goals. Without a physical exam, it is hard to determine what option is best for you. We suggest to our patients to give some ranges and maximums, but ultimately, you should trust your surgeon to make the best decisions to meet your goals. A second opinion or consultation could be beneficial.
