I have seen posts where people talk about their pre-op appointments and multiple consultation appointments. What is a typical breast augmentation schedule from initial consult to post-op appointments?
Answer: It depends when you want your surgery . Sometimes could be as early as one week if in good health. I recommend an in person consultation with a plastic surgeon to discuss your goals and be measured. After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size and style breast implants, and they choose what looks right for them. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. You get to see actual results and the surgeon's experience and not a virtual idea of what can be achieved. Women tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what size and style breast implant is right for them. Dr. Ted Eisenberg, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and Author. Answer: Schedule Schedule vary widely depending upon the physician you see and the area you live. Some can be scheduled fairly quickly, and some may be scheduled out for a few months.

Answer: Consultative process Hi there,Every surgeon has a different practice but I would say most patients have their initial consultation, pre-operative appointment, surgery date, and then 2-6 post-ops over the first year depending on their procedure and wound healing. Hope that helps!

Answer: Time from consult to surgery On average, it takes 6-10 weeks from initial consultation to day of surgery in my practice and many other busy plastic surgeon practices.
