Dysport tachyphylaxis or immunity?

32F started getting Dysport q3-4 mo at 30 w/ great results. Units distributed betw horizontal lines, glabellar frown lines, tail of eyebrow. Started to experience minimal to no effect/results about 1 year ago (60 units 10/14/2020, 86 units 12/1/2020). Having no results, I've gone to 2 other providers since, making appts ~q3 months using combos of Xeomin, Jeuveau, Dysport. 5 days s/p last appt still have fine lines upon resting, wrinkles on muscle activation. Case of immunity?

Immunity to neurotoxins is rare. I have seen it happen twice with Botox and in both cases Xeomin worked well. Sometimes muscles become stronger outside of the original treatment area and then the injection points need to be adjusted. You may need more units than you originally did if more injection points are needed. After waiting a full 2 weeks post injection you could go back to the injector and they should be able to see where that movement is coming from and treat appropriately.

I encourage you to wait a full two weeks to allow the treatment to be in full effect.  If you still have concerns after two weeks, return to the injector for an evaluation.  Specific muscle activity can be targeted to improve your results.  It's hard to say if you have immunity which can occur, though it is rare.
