Answer: Dysport injections in the masseters vs. buccal fat pad removal Dysport is a neuromodulator that targets the masseter muscle along the jawline. By reducing the muscle’s activity the Dysport also reduces the muscle’s size, which in turn produces narrowing of the jawline. Patients often see additional slimming with subsequent treatments over time. This procedure does not involve surgery like buccal fat removal and the results are only temporary. Some younger patients that undergo buccal fat pad removal find this treatment affects the way their faces age over time. I would recommend the Dysport injections to see if this treatment offers the results you want.

Answer: Masseter injection It appears you are a candidate to have Dysport or another neurotoxin such as Botox injected into the masseter muscle. This can have a slimming effect to the face. The treatment is in full effect two weeks after injection and the results will fade gradually over 3 to 4 months.
