You can apply cosmetics, wash face, hair, etc. after Botox for migraines. It will take 1-2 weeks for final results. Hope this helps.

At one day post treatment it is fine to shower normally as well as put on cosmetics. Do not put heavy pressure or vigorously massage the treated areas. Regular exercise routines can resume the day after injections as well. Contact your provider for more information.

We typically tell patients that after botox injections, it is safe to put on makeup right away! However, we recommend against aggressive facial massages including facials and really hard scrubbing for the first couple of days. I hope the injections work well for you!

Gentle cleansing and application of skin care products and cosmetics are not a problem. One wants to be careful not to use a tight fitting helmet or goggles, electric facial brush such as Clarisonic, engage in downward yoga positions, have a massage or chiropractic visit for 3-5 days after injections.
