I got my first treatment of botox for chronic migraines yesterday. I am seeing a lot of information on aftercare for cosmetic botox, but feel that botox for migraines may be different (more injections, multiple sites). My main concern is showering (washing hair and face) and applying cosmetics. How long should I wait before doing both?

Possible. It is the reaction of the nerve being affected by the neurotoxin, although is it possible that the neurotoxin was injected into a small artery. It will pass. Temporary effect only.
Hi and thank you for your question! I don't think that the sound of injection or the feeling following the procedure can be an accurate indicator of the proper treatment. Also please keep in mind that being worried too much about the procedure might also have a negative effect on the headaches ...
