I had eye lid surgery, way too much lids which hung down to my pupils. I now have bright happy eyes with eyelashes which I haven’t seen in a year. Dr Carniol was great every step from the consultation to the surgery through follow ups. Can’t imagine a better experience or more perfect outcome. .
Waking up at night unable to breathe on one side of my nose. Dr. Carniol diagnosed my deviated septum and enlarged turbinates . I had researched the procedure online and became nervous about some negative information. Dr. Carniol was patient and professional as he explained what he would be doing during my operation. Results were fantastic! Many thanks to Dr. Carniol and his surgical team at The Milford Regional Hospital!
Dr. Carniol is the best! I am so happy with my results-I can't say enough about how amazing I feel. My experience was nothing short of perfect. Dr. Carniol is kind, patient, informative and so professional. He wholeheartedly cares about his patients and takes such pride in his work. I highly recommend his services!
I went to see Dr. Carniol to have Botox injected for my crows feet. I had Botox injected once before and was happy with the results. I was very impressed with Dr. Carniol’s bedside manner. He spent a lot of time assessing my concerns and explaining all of the options. He also spent a lot of time reviewing possible adverse effects and even giving me the % of how likely it was that I would experience those adverse effects (chance of adverse effects are very minimal). The actual injections took less than 5 minutes and were almost painless. Afterwards I was just thwondering slightest bit red at the injection sites, but was able to go back to work right after. The next day you couldn’t even tell I had anything done. Dr. Carniol was very professional the entire time and made me feel very comfortable which in my opinion is very important because anytime you are have something injected into your face your are going to be at least a little bit nervous. It has been 3 days since my Botox and I am already seeing subtle results! I am looking forward to the coming days since i know from past experience And what Dr. Carniol explained to me that the results can take up to a week. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend Dr. Carniol if you are considering Botox or other injectables.
Dr Carniol was very informative about the procedure, answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable about everything before I even had my Botox done. He has a great personality and I would defiantly refer him to all my friends.
Dr. Carniol was very professional and informative about the procedure. I was very surprised the injections were painless and was able to return back to work with no restrictions. I would recommend him to all my family and friends and will continue treatments with him. I am very excited to see my results!!! Thank you Dr.Carniol
Dr Carniol took the time to explain the different types of options based off of what I was looking to do. He has a great bedside manner and I was comfortable the whole time. The injections were seemless. I barely felt anything.... and I have a low tolerance for pain and whine when I stub my toe. When he realized I was a little nervous, he stopped to get some stress release balls for me to hold. I would highly recommend this procedure with Dr. Carniol!
I am sorry that you have such tough scarring, even after several treatments. I always tell patients that if we can get scars 50% improved, we are doing well. When we far surpass this, we can really celebrate. Because of your skin tone, the laser therapy was likely very little in order to avoid complications, so it was of little benefit. Each scar should be addressed individually, and so a combination of treatments may be best. Subcision with filler can be a great option for many patients with particular scars when done in the right hands. If you would like to take the train to NJ, I would be happy to see you!Sincerely, Dr. Eric Carniol drcarniol .com
Fat transfer lower blepharoplasty is a great procedure in the right patient. For patients with "heavy undereye bags" and deep troughs, the procedure can take down the hills while building up the valleys. However, for many patients, it is not the 'be all, end all.' The procedure can make the trough areas substantially better, but some patients may still require some filler there after for complete correction. The procedure is an advanced technique add-on. Some patients in fact are not great candidates, and some surgeons have never performed the procedure before. In my hands, this procedure is performed under anesthesia, not local, as it can be tougher on patients to see instruments near their eyes. I wish you success!Sincerely, Dr. Eric Carniol
The importance of a natural looking hairline cannot be understated. For many patients, particularly younger patients, they prefer a hairline like they had when they were in their teenage years. However, if you take a look at men "hair loss," you will notice the hairline is actually higher. The hairline should frame the face and provide balance to the face. A low hairline unfortunately looks odd and requires hair removal to correct. I hope this is helpful.I wish you success with your desired procedure!Sincerely, Eric T. Carniol, MD, @drericcarniol
Dear Lisa, For many patients, I perform blepharoplasty under only local anesthesia. We use lidocaine (Xylocaine is the brand name, just like Tylenol is acetaminophen). The remainder of the procedure is basically pain free. My last patient took a nap during the procedure, which is why I find sedation usually unnecessary. For some nervous patients, I offer an anxiety medication similar to ativan, and for patients that prefer more anesthesia, we can do it with active sedation in the operating room. I wish you success!Sincerely,Eric T. Carniol, MD @drericcarniol
You actually have a short distance between your upper lip and your nose, so overall, you likely not be a great candidate for a lip lift. Lip lifts unfortunately can carry a relatively high rate of poor scarring, so should only be performed on patients that would truly receive a significant benefit. You may wish for a touch of filler for your lips instead. Feel free to contact my Milford office tomorrow if you wish for an appointment.Sincerely, Eric T. Carniol, MD, @drericcarniol
