I have an appointment with my neurologist to be treated with Botox for migraine prevention. I will need injections every 3 months for at least a year. Is there any chance there will be cosmetic benefits as well decrease in migraines? If not, would it be too much Botox to have a different doctor inject me with botox for cosmetic reasons?
Are there any contraindications to having a full-body massage aprior to receiving Botox injections? Would that be too much for the body (healing) or cause adverse reactions to the Botox treatment? The massage would be an hour before receiving the Botox.
I am breastfeeding my daughter twice a day. But want to resume my botox due to constant migraines. I also have found that my right brow sits higher than my left and this is most likely because of the effects of my botox (pre-baby) wearing off. Do I have to wait until my child is completely weaned to get botox again? Help!
Ive been getting Botox for migraines for the last year and have found it incredibly helpful. I just realized I accidentally booked my next injection for the day after I get my hair professionally dyed (all the way up to the scalp) for the first time. Knowing that I do have sites on my scalp, should it be safe for me to keep my Botox appointment? Or is there a risk I should be aware of?
I get botox for chronic migraine and after my last set of shots I was doing well and then got a head neck massage about three weeks out. Know Im finding that I am sore in my shoulder and my migraine has returned. Was that too soon. Does massage affect the botox?
I got my first treatment of botox for chronic migraines yesterday. I am seeing a lot of information on aftercare for cosmetic botox, but feel that botox for migraines may be different (more injections, multiple sites). My main concern is showering (washing hair and face) and applying cosmetics. How long should I wait before doing both?
The first week of February I had Botox for migraines. The injections go in the back of my head, at the hairline of my forehead and just above my nose in between my eyes. About 3 days after I woke myself up trying to get a full breath through my nose. This happened 2 nights in a row. The next day I woke up with a swollen nose and cheeks. The major swelling went down but I still having swelling in my nasal lining and inner eyes. I can feel fluid when I press on the sides of my nose or eyes.
