Bruises near the eyes after botox can last longer than one would imagine. This is due to the natural hollows in the eyes. The blue really hangs on. You didn't post any photos, so it is hard to say. Generally warm compresses are helpful in the resolution of bruises under the eye. Hoping the best for you from Sedona!

It is extraordinarily rare when someone becomes sensitized to hyaluronic acid fillers, but it can happen. The tell-tale sign is redness, itching, swelling, and induration (hives). You have the all the symptoms of an allergic reaction. There are other solutions for facial rejuvenation though. You could consider non-chemical options such as Pelleve radio frequency, or photofacials for lighter, brighter and tighter skin. You too could be tested for use of Sculptra instead. I like to recommend dietary sources of collagen aslo in powder or capsule form. It is always a good idea to listen to the body and respect it's limits.

Microneedling prior to filler is a plus! One only needs to wait 3-4 weeks prior after the needling for the dermal filler. The reverse is not true. Microneedling after the filler is not helpful and will shorten the duration of the filler. Your brief treatment today most likely did not make much difference, but I would not continue that practice. Microneedling the lips is not recommended either, the lips are more subject to inflammation and can place you at risk for granuloma formation. Hoping the best for you!

Forehead lines are tricky! Mainly because the problem is caused by muscle movement and therefore Botox is the best treatment. Other procedures that last longer can be a concern if they leave you with a heavy brow. Botox is wonderful over time. Patients who treat routinely every 3-4 months for several years will have lasting treatment, preventive and smooth results. Combination treatments include Pelleve resurfacing, chemical peels, and microneedling with Platelet rich plasma. Hoping the best for you!
