Hi! I am 5'6" and 165 lbs. I have had several consultations with Plastic surgeons telling me different amounts for how much fat they would/could remove with 360 lipo. Before I decide, I wanted to ask here. I know its difficult to do with only photos but based on what you see, how many liters would you take out? I would like a flat stomach if possible. Every PS has said my skin is good so no TT needed. Thanks so much for your help.
Answer: Liposuction The safe limit for out-patient liposuction is 5 liters which is 10 lbs of fat. At 5'6 and 165 lbs, your BMI is 27 so you are overweight. You have some extra fat but most likely not 10 lbs. If you want the flattest stomach possible then I recommend abdominoplasty with mesh reinforcement, if you are not planning future pregnancies. The mesh creates a more hourglass figure by compressing the abdominal wall resulting in early satiety and helps maintain a reduced weight. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: 360Lipo Hi, thank you for sharing your question. It is very hard to say from these photos alone, however, a rough estimate would be 3-4 Liters of fat. An assessment of intra-abdominal versus subcutaneous fat would be needed and this can only be done in person. I hope this helps.

Answer: Liposuction candidate Dear Koolducky88, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination and it is hard to predict the exact amount of fat that can be removed. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: It all depends on the frame Hello and thank you for your question. You seem to be quite fit and the thickness of the fat pad on the stomach seems to be less than 1 inch ( bear in mind when you pinch you have twice the skin and twice the fat between your fingers) We do not have a back picture and 360 lipo usually adresses the back rolls as well! So any where between 3 and 5 liters of aspiration fluid I think is a fair approximation. The question of the flat stomach has to be assessed together with the position of your hips / bassin / lumbar tilt... etc. all this to tell you that lipo can reduce the thickness of the pinch but not correct the posture: only abdominal muscle tightening can do that: training or abdominoplasty! As abdominoplasty seems to be far from a reasonable indication this leaves you with the ... gym... even after the lipo!

Answer: Liters of Fat to Remove with Liposuction You do not need to worry about how many liters will be removed. What you need to worry about is how the surgeon does the liposuction and how much will be left. You would be amazed at how little fat probably not get more than 2 liters, and that would be pushing it. Your main problem is not the external fat that liposuction can remove but intraabdominal fat that only diet and lifestyle changes can change. If someone tells you that they can make your abdomen flat, do not believe them.
