Swelling post-lipo can persist for months, so it's important to be on the right after care protocols. The most common cause of bumps and lumps after lipo is the accumulation of fluid under the skin, which in turn causes inflammation or swelling. The hollow spaces created under the skin by the cannula get filled with bodily fluids, which cause irregular swelling. These bumps gradually collapse with the help of compress garment. However, in some cases bumpiness might be caused by blood accumulation under the skin and can take up to a year to improve or need to be removed surgically. Other liposuction lumps are the residual fat which settle down gradually. A secondary lipo procedure may be required to solve this problem. Would suggest that you visit your doctor or another experienced surgeon for thorough examination and recommendation.

You need to be examined. I would suggest going back in to see your surgeon and be examined to see what can be done. Texting won't help.

I suggest you schedule an in person follow up with your surgeon. The results are indicative of a poorly done procedure with uneven fat removal that was done in an over aggressively a manner.

It may be difficult to correct the outcome. That is often the case when providers are heavy handed and leave an uneven fat distribution.

Surgeons are responsible for the outcome of procedures, not allowing follow up is considered abandonment.
