Hi I have lipo 360 done in august. The front is nice but the back and sides are all lumpy. Is this something my surgeon should fix ? That might be a problem as he doesn’t answer my texts as I had breast tunneling issues also. What should I do? How to fix the lumpy lipo?
Answer: Back liposuction Thank you for the question. It looks like is fibrosis with fat, I would suggest second round of liposuction on your back. I would suggest to be treated by board certified plastic surgeon with experience in this procedure, to get the best desired results. Respectfully, Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-

Answer: Post-Liposuction After Care -- Compression, Lymphatic Massage, Hyperbaric Oxygen, Radiofrequency (Venus Legacy, Exilis, Forma) Swelling post-lipo can persist for months, so it's important to be on the right after care protocols. In addition to compression, hyperbaric oxygen therapy and radiofrequency treatments, lymphatic massage is highly effective in the prevention of fluid buildup, scar tissue, inflammation, and infections. Lymphatic massage also decreases the chance of irregularities, lumps or bumps; accelerates healing and minimizes downtime; and, following a liposculpture procedure, can help further contour the abdominals. I recommend that my liposculpture patients receive lymphatic massage treatments every day for a week following their procedure; twice per week for the following month; and then once per week until healing is complete. I recommend following up with your physician (or with a hi-definition physique expert) about best after care practices. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Liposuction results Dear Pmccafferty1, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Would suggest that you visit your doctor or another experienced surgeon for thorough examination and recommendation The most common cause of bumps and lumps after lipo is the accumulation of fluid under the skin, which in turn causes inflammation or swelling. The hollow spaces created under the skin by the cannula get filled with bodily fluids, which cause irregular swelling. These bumps gradually collapse with the help of compress garment. However, in some cases bumpiness might be caused by blood accumulation under the skin and can take up to a year to improve or need to be removed surgically. Other liposuction lumps are the residual fat which settle down gradually. A secondary lipo procedure may be required to solve this problem. Would suggest that you visit your doctor or another experienced surgeon for thorough examination and recommendation.
