I have an upcoming BBL with lipo 360 in a couple of months. My BMI is a 28 and I’m healthily losing weight leading up to the surgery for maximum results. I’m worried about my back fat and that I won’t get great results. I hear the back is the hardest area to target with lipo. I’ve just always had these pronounced rolls, even at a 23 BMI. Do you think it’ll just look like a bunch of loose skin after the surgery, or can I expect a moderate level of improvement? I don’t want a back lift.
Answer: Back Skin The most important variable is the skill of the board-certified surgeon. Harvesting of the fat in Lipo 360 can be achieved very well but there needs to be attention to disruption of the fibers along the rolls. Removal of the fat can be done with regular liposuction but a better result is achieved with the addition of VASER ultrasonic liposuction which cause heating of the septae fibers resulting in tightening or other modality. Based upon your BMI of 28 and your young age, you should not have loose skin - certainly there should be an improvement. Hope this helps and I wish you all the best. Respectfully, Jules A Feledy, Jr, MD American Board of Plastic Surgery, American Society of Plastic Surgery

Answer: Liposuction Thank you for your photos and question. Liposuction to the back would leave lose skin. You may be a good candidate for adding bodytite to the back to help the skin to retract some and improve your results. I would recommend scheduling a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options. Best of luck to you.

Answer: Liposuction Candidate -- VASER HI DEF Liposculpture, ThermiRF, Fat Grafting, Renuvion, Inmode BodyTite, See an Expert You need a formal evaluation by an expert in body shaping and contouring to determine what is best. The best in body contouring not only removes fat with energy devices like VASER ultrasound but also internally heats the skin with radiofrequency devices such as Renuvion (J-Plasma), InMode BodyTite, and ThermiRF to heat the undersurface of the skin and tighten it at the same time as fat removal. These combinations are called 4D HI-DEF VASER Liposuction and can only be done by a well-trained body contouring specialist. At the same time, fat should be harvested and purified, with PRP and stem cells added, and then injected into muscles, indentations and cellulite to get body shaping and contouring. Overall, you need a full assessment, but simple liposuction alone will not tighten skin and needs a combination of various methods -- fat removal, skin tightening, defining, fat grafting, skin removal -- to get the best in body contouring and body sculpting. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Liposuction Candidate Thank you for your question. Based on your pictures your first recommendation is tummy tuck with intense liposuction in the belly, waist and laterals to improve your body contour. If you decide just to have liposuction the results will depend on the skin quality. Kind regards, Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-
