Hi, I am attaching my pic so I can explain what my issue is...the horizontal line that goes between my eyes. I am 50 and my brow is falling, that line and indent makes me look angry, I don't want a brow lift, can a filler and botox help? How long will it last?
Answer: Botox of the Glabella and Nasalis Muscle Thank you for the detailed question and corresponding photo. You look like you would be a good candidate for Botox to your glabella region and your nasalis muscle on your nose. Helping to relax those two areas together can improve that line between your eyebrows. I recommend seeing a board-certified plastic surgeon or expert injector in-person so that they can see your muscles in action and dose you appropriately. Answer: Botox for lines between brows Thank you for your question. I do believe that you would benefit from Botox. The “11 Lines”, also known as “Glabellar Lines”, are the lines that appear between the eyebrows. They are the result of repeatedly furrowing your brow when you frown. Botox relaxes the muscle that causes the wrinkles.

Answer: Fillers can make all the difference. A little filler such as radiesse which lasts about a year would help the horizontal groove between your eyes and it looks very natural.

Answer: Can Botox and Filler Help With Horizontal Line Between Eyes? Botox (Dysport, Xeomin) Smooths Out Bunny Lines Any of the neuromodulators — Botox, Dysport or Xeomin — can smooth out horizontal wrinkles on the nose, commonly referred to as bunny lines. This may be the only treatment you need, although you might also benefit from a laser procedure and/or dermal fillers. I’d suggest going slowly, starting with bunny-line treatment, and see how you like the results. Please consult a board-certified dermatologist who is an expert with neuromodulators.

Answer: What can I do for the horizontal line between my eyes??? Ask Dr. Ellen… The first step would be to inject Botox into this area to help decrease muscle action which is contributing to line formation. Botox is a protein that when injected into your facial muscles, reduces the muscle fibers capacity to contract. This process usually takes 5-7 days to take effect and can last for 3-4 months. If the line has been there a long time, it may take a round or two of Botox until you see marked improvement. If, after the Botox settles in there is still a residual crease, fillers may be needed to help get the desired result. It is best to always go to an experienced injector who can answer these questions! In Good Health, Ellen Mahony MD
