Is a fast heartbeat dangerous after rhinoplasty?

My rhinoplasty was two days ago and so far I seem to be healing great (no swelling in my face, very little bruising). To entertain myself while at home, I play video games. Sometime my heart starts beating faster and I think I can sort of "feel" the stress of the game in my nose. I was wondering if it is dangerous and if I should stop playing. That would suck, because I was looking forward to my week of recovery to play video games all day!

Hello and thank you for your question and photograph.  It is very rare to have an infection at the incision after rhinoplasty.  However, it does appear that there may be an infection at the site.  I highly recommend you see your surgeon immediately.Best wishes and good luck.
