What to expect in terms of costs, recovery, and results with a pretrichial browlift?

Do not let anyone perform a hairline browlift!  It will leave a visible scar, has significant permanent scalp numbness, and if you lose any hair in the future will become incredibly obvious.  Seek out a surgeon that can perform an endoscopic browlift.  It will not move your hairline, has significantly shorter recovery with better results!

Hi Dominic,I don't recommend pretrichial browlifts in men because the scar can be quite visible, particularly once their hairline begins to recede (which unfortunately happens to all of us!)  Think twice before undergoing this procedure.  Best of luck.- Dr. K

A pretrichal browlift is a great option for lowering a hairline or reducing a prominent forehead.  The scars heal very well, and are difficult to see.  However, in young men (especially those prone to male pattern baldness), a hairline scar today will be a forehead scar in 20 years.From your photos, it doesn't appear that your brows are the problem - you appear to have mild upper eyelid ptosis that contributes to the "tired" look.  Getting this fixed and ignoring your brows would likely accomplish your goals.
