Does the result settle up or settle down after a open Brow lift?

All brow lift results will initially be higher due to early swelling and gradually descend slightly to a more desireable level. Keep in mind most browlifts should enhance the appearance of the eyes rather than change the level of the hair-bearing brow. Good brow lift results should be subtle and retain the normal shape of the brow.

Browlifts will settle slightly lower than initial placement regardless of approach.  How much they settle depends on the fixation method used for repositioning the brows more than the approach (open vs. endoscopic).  

Done by a very experienced brow lift surgeon the brow should desend only a small amount after an open brow lift procedure.it is far more stable than an endoscopic brow lift

Some
brow elevation is always lost. The amount depends on the nature of the surgery. A variety of innovative techniques may be employed, depending on the clinical situation. It is not uncommon for patients' brows to be raised too high – particularly the medial brow, after conventional and, particularly, endoscopic brow lifts. This excessive elevation of the brow is accompanied by hollowness of the upper lids and unnaturally high hairline.

after lifting procedures are done.  Some settle more than others, depending on technique of your surgeon.  I am an advocate of the subcutaneous browlift and acknowledge its high rate of relapse/drooping.  When redone with my revision policy, the results are more durable.

Ther may be some settling down after an open brow lift done by an experienced surgeon. It is much more stable than results after an endoscopic procedure.

Hi, I have performed many Brow Lifts over the past 30 years.  The eyebrow p[osition will settle downward but not up against the pull of gravity.  When properly performed, this change should be very minor.  Hope this helps.
