Have pronounced vertical glabellar wrinkles on forehead (more than the "11's), am wondering about procedures that stretch forehead skin laterally without lifting eyebrows (if possible), and the corresponding scarring on face from incisions, and where the incisions might be done...am 48 year old male, receding hairline and keep hair short so hiding any scars is optimal....thank you
Answer: Procedures that stretch forehead skin laterally There are no good reliable techniques for stretching the for it skin laterally without lifting it. If one has very deep glabellar folds, there is usually a lack of volume at the folds that even pulling the skin laterally will not flatten the area. Eyebrow distortion also limits this technique.

CONTACT NOW Answer: Options to improve wrinkles on your forehead? You would benefit greatly from Botox. Retin-A is a wonderful ADDITION to your daily skin care regimen, but it will not correct deep static lines across the forehead. By injecting approximately 10 units across your frontalis muscle, we could dramatically relax those lines. You need to repeat the treatment every 4 months. I hope this answers your question. #retinAforwrinkles #deepstaticlines #botox

Answer: It sounds like the best treatment for you is probably a combination of Botox and fillers. There are no reliable or effective means of stretching the forehead skin laterally, and doing it for glabellar wrinkles would produce eyebrow displacement and may not even get rid of all the wrinkles. It sounds like the best treatment for you is probably a combination of Botox and fillers. Botox will relax the muscles that form the creases between the brows, and any leftover etched-in lines can be filled carefully with a HA filler such as Restylane. It is extremely important to see a highly experienced and skilled plastic surgeon for filler injections between the brows, however, as improper injection technique in this area can have devastating consequences. I hope this helps.

Answer: Lateral stretch of the brow I agree with my colleagues that there are no reliable techniques to distract glabellar skin and efface deep creases. The best treatment option is a combination of neuromodulators with fillers. The botox will relax corrugator and procures muscles, whose action causes folding of the skin to create the "11." If the creases are etched deeply into the skin, the filler will efface the depression. Consider seeing a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with significant experience with facial injections.

Answer: How to get rid of wrinkles at the sides of your eyes? Hello,as mentioned below, there is really no good method to do this. Even if you lift the forehead skin at the sides, your wrinkles will still be there. A good option, is botox. I've put a link below discussing this and how it gets rid of the wrinkles. Dr James P. Bonaparte
