I had a breast augmentation/lift a month ago, mine was a more complex case but he did an amazing job. He worked in breast reconstruction for cancer patients/survivors so he has seen all kinds of breasts. He did a really great job, I mean REALLY great. He’s professional and serious (don’t let that put you off!) and really knows his stuff. I saw many others before him and he was the only one that I got a good vibe with, like I knew he was the one I should choose. The staff are SUPER nice, big shout out to Tania, Love, Janet and Yucel. The whole team is supportive and friendly. I’ll think about maybe sharing photos one day a bit further in the healing process... I had tuberous breasts but both were different, he reassured me he had seen this and many other things before and I’m glad I trusted him. They look really nice. For the first time in my life I’m more comfortable out of clothes than in them. I can wear all the sexy tops and backless dresses I want now! The difference is really shocking (like before/after), everytime I look in the mirror I can’t believe that it’s me? The chest dysphoria was REAL before, now I’m so excited to show them off.
I came to the clinic to enhance my lips and to correct an asymmetry. I saw Dr. Schwarz’s nurse Christina who was friendly and very professional. That day, she used .7ml on my lips. Now my asymmetry is almost unnoticeable by me (probably completely unnoticable to others). I will be returning soon to increase the volume a bit more. I highly recommend this clinic.
Wanted natural looking full breasts and that's what I got ???? 350cc mod+ mentor cohesive gel implants Age - 24 Height - 165cm Weight - 105lbs If you live in Montreal go see Dr Karl Schwarz he's the best !! I am so happy with my new look I do not regret my decision at all ! Updated on 8 Jul 2020: My right implant was bottoming out so I decided to get a little revision. I am 48 hours post op and I can't wait to see my result in a few months ! As always, amazing service. Dr Schwarz and his team are the best ! Updated on 1 Nov 2020: Hi :) I had my revision surgery in July and now it's October. I am super happy with the result :)
Hi everyone! I wanted to wait till I was nearly a full year post-op before posting a review, just to see if anything would change — my attitude, the “girls,” anything. But really, nothing’s changed since the six-month mark. So, the verdict…. [drumroll] awesome!!! A million times better than before. Zero regrets. My ONLY ISSUE: the flex distortion. My surgeon had said it would be minimal, and I trusted him, so I hadn’t given it any thought. But in fact, it was more pronounced than what he’d said. And at first I was like, WTF! Not a happy camper! At my six-month follow-up, he offered to switch them to over-muscle at no charge. In the end I decided it wasn’t worth it. Today I’m glad, because I think it would have been the wrong decision for me and my body type, plus the risk of complications, etc. Now I barely even notice the flex. Still, I will say here, that aspect of the boob job doesn’t and won’t ever look “natural.” And while I can honestly say it doesn’t bother me anymore, I think many surgeons tend to minimize this problem, which is wrong. They should be far more up-front about it so that their patients have a VERY clear understanding, pre-op. It is a definite possibility or even a likely outcome for anyone who has an under-muscle BA. But (just to finish with this subject) like I said, one year in, I can definitely live with the results. Overall, the worst of the whole thing was having to sleep on my back for two weeks! And the incisions were also a pain: they were quite uncomfortable for about the first six weeks and seemed abnormally thick. But they’ve healed very nicely into perfectly flat little scars that barely show. Here’s the run-down of my experience. PAIN Pretty well zero (on a scale of 1 to 10); no meds as of Day 2, not even Tylenol. No nausea: they had given me ondansetron, which was great. ACTIVITY Day 1, not able to do much till late afternoon (op was in the early AM) but then perked up fine. Was 80% normal the next day, 100% as of Day 3. Getting out of bed by myself was a bit of an issue until I figured out how (bring knee close to chest, loop arms around thigh, round back so that head approaches knee and then gently roll up). Barring lifting anything heavy, range of motion normal as of Day 2 and was able to do long walks by Day 3. (Careful) sex as of Day 4, heh heh. HEALING Zero issues, thankfully: no capsular contraction, no infection, no uneven dropping/fluffing. The usual Frankenboob and some bruising, but nothing abnormal. Grateful! FEELINGS Thankfully, was spared the emotional seesaw. I guess I’m normally on a pretty even keel, but surgery and anaesthetic can do a number on anyone’s head . . . I had told myself to take a good three months before deciding whether I liked them or not, but I found I loved them right off the bat, even through the awful Frankenboob stage! The famous dropping and fluffing took a full three months to complete. Sizewise, I am SUPER GLAD I got 325s: it’s made a fantastic difference to how I feel naked, without being screamingly obvious to the rest of the world. Anything bigger would have really looked silly on my frame. I never really wanted huge knockers, anyway — more of a lift effect with added fullness. Which is what I got. REACTIONS My reaction, to begin with. Amazing! They instantly felt like me. BF’s reaction. Unsurprisingly, he is CRAZY about them (which is very gratifying). Sex life definitely hotter. :) Other people’s reactions: they don’t notice unless I want them to — I can very much control how I look, depending on what bra I wear, and most of my old clothes still fit. Still, while I’ve told my closest friends, it’s not something I feel I need to make public. Generally, the people I’ve told have been pretty cool about it. The new boobs even helped a friend who was facing a mastectomy come to terms with her operation: her doctors wanted to put in an implant at the same time, and when I told her about mine and that it was no big deal, she said it really set her mind at ease. :) SURGEON He's super-professional and I feel, extremely good at his job. Everything went exactly as he had said. I just didn't like feeling like I was on an assembly line, that's all -- he had 10 operations scheduled the day he did me, and they DEFINITELY tried to kick me out of recovery before I was ready, which I did not appreciate! But at the end of the day, he is an excellent surgeon. He delivered and I'm happy with the outcome, so what more can you ask? OVERALL Very happy! Despite the flexing. Love the size, love how they feel -- love how they make me feel. Recovery was totally trouble-free for me, discomfort was minimal and scarring is very unobtrusive.
I wanted a rhinoplasty since I was a kid and I have finally done it and im super happy with the results and its still swollen ! cant wait to see the final results in about 10months. The staff is super nice and they make you feel really comfortable, I did a lot of research before going to Dr.Schwartz and he was the only one that I could get a good vibr from. After my consultation I was like "this is the one" lol. Jokes aside , a rhinoplasty is so important , its on your face so you don't want to mess up I feel you I also went through this stress, but trust me this guy is the best ! Thank you so much doctor !
I heard about Dr. Schwarz from a few colleagues and decided to come see him for my rhinoplasty. He is absolutely amazing. He gave my nose a very natural look without making me look like a different person! I couldn't be happier with the results ! His team is amazing and very kind and patient. I felt very comfortable throughout the whole process.
AMAZING TEAM: Patricia the coordinator is so nice, organize and super quick!Isabelle makes you feel always welcome and she always have a beautiful smile! The nurses are so nice and full of attentions! Doctor KARL SCHWARZ MADE MY DREAM COME TRUE: he is an amazing human before a surgeon, he makes you feel comfortable, he gives you all the knowledge that you need and gives you security, I was so scared for the procedure but I felt asleep with a smile, and when I woke up everybody was taking good care of me and I HAD BEAUTYFUL BREAST! My husband was against it , now he's so Happy! VERY NATURAL RESULT! More than I was expecting! SUPER HIGHLY recommended!!
Amazing surgeon. Very attentive and takes the time you need during consult. It was my first surgery and I had such a great experience. His staff is lovely! Two days post op and I'm recovering well and my new breast already look amazing! Thank you Dr. Schwarz i couldn't be happier with my results!!!!
I was always cautious about my left nasel because it had a rasping hump. I know alot of surgeons in Montreal since most of them are my clients. But out of all the surgeons I know, I knew to put my trust in Karl Shwarz . As soon as I walked in for my consultation I was treated with so much care. The staff was so friendly it makes me want to go back for more services! But i have nothing else i want to do - for now! Being 27 there's not much i want to do just yet. However, I know the go to Dr. For when i need botox and what not in the future! ....the day i walked in for my rhinoplasty surgery i was a bit nervous, all my emotions were getting the best of me. The lady who had booked my procedure date was extremely pleasant and calmed me. She was so in tuned with my concerns and that's rare to come across since she is booking so many clients a day. A lady named Caroline that works at his clinic also took such good care of me, i felt like i was at a 5 star hotel. ...all this being said Dr. Karl Shwarz was exceptionally professional. He consulted with me prior to the surgery before i got the stuff (not sure what it's called) to help me not feel the pain during surgery. I was so happy because he insured me that he knew exactly what i wanted, and he remembered what we had spoken about 3 weeks prior during the consultation. During surgery i felt amazing felt no pain! Post surgery i barely had bruising. Once i got the splint removed i started to cry! I could not believe the results. Saying the least - It turned out WAY better than i had EVER imagined! I am truly 100% satisfied. I will chant now, and i will keep on chanting about him! He is our modern day Picasso :) Updated on 6 Nov 2014:
Had my first surgery ever in my life; a breast reduction. He is absolutely the best! He is very professional! Does not make you feel uncomfortable at all, and he's very friendly! I was very pleased with my results! I recommend him if you're thinking of getting a breast reduction surgery! You will not regret it! :)
Hi Martyn45,Thank you for your question!Yes you can have breast augmentation surgery after radiation therapy but complication rates such as infection, bleeding and capsular contracture are significantly higher. It is important for a plastic surgeon to assess the previous radiations affect on your tissues before considering placement of an implant. If your skin has significant radiation damage then an implant may not be a good idea. Good luck,Dr. K
Hi Christine,The only effective treatment for capsular contracture is to remove the capsule surgically. It is a relatively minor procedure with very little downtime and you can keep the implant in place. Best,Dr. K
Hi Anburney,Thank you for your question.Yes, you can return to your desk job, provided that your job does not require any strenuous activity or lifting. Most people will take one week off but if you feel comfortable after 3 days you can return to work. Thanks!Dr. K
Hi Yily,If you have any heart condition it is best to see your primary doctor and have him or her decide wether you need to see a cardiologist before surgery. The chances of having a heart attack while under general anesthesia if you are completely healthy are extremely, extremely low. Best,Dr. K
Hi,While uncommon, it is possible to get stretch marks after breast augmentation. It depends on the size of the implant and the tightness of your skin. If you are a B cup, it would be uncommon (though not impossible) for a 375cc implant to cause stretch marks. Unfortunately, there is no cream available that is scientifically proven to avoid or improve stretch marks. Laser treatment can give small improvements. If they do appear, you best bet is lots of sunblock for the first 6 months postop if you go to the beach. Best of luck,Dr. K
