Hello, I’m 30 years old and I had Dysport in the forehead and glabella (11) regions 10 days ago. My medial brow has drooped and it makes me look really severe. In seems like the botox on my forehead muscles has worked (still have a bit of movement), but not on the glabella region. Can this be corrected with more botox on the 11 lines? L First picture is how I look now and second picture is how I look normally. Also added 2 pictures of my botox results on the muscles. Thanks!
Answer: Droopy Medial Brow Thank you for your pictures and question. It takes at least 14 days for neuromodulators to work-- to be honest, sometimes I still see changes until week 3. It is not uncommon for some muscles, or even one side of your face, to activate before the others. My advice would be to give it more time, to see how everything settles. If after 14 days you are still not happy, you can add more to your corrugators (assuming they still have the function seen in your photos), and that will help lift the medial brow. Answer: Good news! Hello there! Your pictures are great since you are showing exactly what any injector will evaluate to determine if you need more botox/dysport or no. Since you are still contracting on the Corrugator muscles (the muscles that pull the start of the brows down towards the nose), you are a candidate for more botox to those areas to release some tension and allow your brows to rest more neutral (less mad). Another factor to consider, is possibly apply less units botox/dysport units to the forehead area (next tx) just to see how you like that. You can always add more units after two weeks but, this may avoid your brows from dropping as low. The beauty of botox/dysport is that we can always adjust and create a personalized plan
