I'm a 50 year old female who recently had primary rhinoplasty and now can't breathe correctly through a previously functional nostril. That nostril now has a wing of cartilage protruding from the columella. It feels like my septum is falling out on that side. It was like this immediately after the surgery and hasn't improved since even though much of the swelling has resolved. Can this be corrected? Should I trust the doctor who did it to fix it? I feel like I got taken.
