I am scheduled for a MM in 4 weeks. I have read, and read, and read about before and afters, but no one has addressed how one should plan to dress after. I am clear that swelling will last for weeks depending on the person, procedure, etc. I am 5.6" about 195. I had my last child over 40. I have a heavy drooping belly. Once the TT is over, will I be able to wear my current clothes? How soon after the TT will I need to have smaller clothes available?

Answer: Clothes after MMO It is best to use your current clothes for several weeks after surgery. At about 3 months after surgery, you may consider shoping for new clothes. Good luck.

Answer: Post-op clothes In regards to you question about clothing, I would say that you will be able to wear your pre-op clothes after surgery. The fact that they may be a bit bigger on you may work to your benefit because it will probably be more comfortable for you. When it comes to when you can buy new clothes I would say that at the 6-8 week mark you will start to notice a decrease in your swelling that will continue to improve up until the 3 month mark. At 6-8 weeks you can consider buying new, smaller clothes but the 3 month mark is when you can really indulge and get your new wardrobe. I hope this helps
