How much will it cost for hairline advancement? (photos)

Costs typically range from 9 to 15k depending on what is done.  Typically, it is fairly easy to advance 4-5cm or 2 inches of hairline.  This requires incisions in the galea (fibrous tissue underneath the scalp) to allow it to stretch.  If you require more than 2 inches, the procedures may need to be staged in to 2 surgeries about 6 months apart so you can advance the scalp even more to near 3 inches of lowering.  This is a procedure we do very often in our practice and surprising fairly painless (most patients only take tylenol for pain) and relatively quick recovery with minimal bruising.  

The cost to you will depend on whether you also want to do any bony contouring to your brow as well which I would recommend. For this, what I call the forehead package (includes hairline lowering, brow bone reduction, and brow lift), the cost ranges between 9-11k depending on the complexity. This does not take into account facility fees or anesthesia costs which may add about 2k.
You have darker skin which can sometimes lead to hypertrophic scarring which is something to consider in such a visible area. This and the fact that your hairline is quite far back may mean you would require future procedures such as scar revisions, steroid injections, or hair grafting. An in-person consultation would be helpful to see how much laxity your scalp has. I have been able to get the hairline up to 5cm forward in certain individuals.

hairline advancement appears to be a good procedure for you, also you should reduce forehead bone, and lift the eyebrows during the same surgery. But also some months after the hairline advancement, you can have benefit of hair implants (for a shorter forehead and also it is going to cover hairline scar).You can write me if you need a quote.
