Thank you for your question which is so important. It is not necessary to be on #feminising hormones prior to #FFS. The frequent "male" features such as brow bossing, nose, upper lip, chin and Adams' apple are never changed by #feminising hormones so it does not impact on the outcome of surgery on these features. However, I would not recommend cheek augmentation with implants or fat grafting until about 12 months on feminising hormones because this area of the face will change with hormones. If you have some male pattern hair loss, I would recommend that you start a DHT blocker such as Finasteride or Duasteride soon. Hope that this is helpful.
The HRT is very important for SRS, but for FFS is not necesary be under hrt. It can be done at every stage
