Can Liposuction alone fix a "hip dip"? (photos)

Question

I am considering having surgery to fix my hip dips. I have had them ever since I can remember and have always wanted to do something about them. I have read a lot about the combination of Liposuction and fat transer, but is it possible to fix with liposuction alone? How much would the cost increase to have liposuction and fat transfer vs. just liposuction? How would the recover period differ between the two options?

I think that you can get a fabulous result with liposuction of the bulkier areas and fat transfer to the indents. The truth is that fat transfer can be used to augment or create almost any shape.  Hip and buttock fat grafting is the most surgeon dependent plastic surgery procedure, and the results vary widely. Look at before and after pictures and  reviews to determine who is the best surgeon for you and set up a virtual or in-office consult to discuss the options for you to achieve your goals.Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA

Getting liposuction of the hips(flanks) and outer thighs will make the "hip dips" disappear and give you such a better contour , but be sure to get it done under local so your doc can stand you up and turn you in all positions to make sure it is nice and smooth.

hello, thanks for your question, after  looking your pictures I will recommend a liposculpture procedure,  that involve most of the time fat transfer  to fix my hip dips, this will be after all the test are completed, the recuperation time that i recommend is  10 day in the Dominican Republic

Liposuction can help minimize or eliminate your hip dip without fat injections. By suctioning fat above and below your hip dip this will seem to smooth out this area.
