CoolSculpting is a body sculpting process that eliminates anywhere from 20% to 30% of fat in a treated area per session. It is not a weight-loss technique. We measure results by the amount of fat that has been eliminated, rather than inches or pounds. Most patients will need at least two to three sessions before achieving optimal results. Please consult a board-certified dermatologist to see if you are a candidate for CoolSculpting.
Remember based on clinical evidence a cool sculpting treatment can reduct an area on average about 22 %. Therefore, some clients get less and some get more. It truly depends on the tissue and if it's pliable enough to pull in to the cup during treatment is true adipose tissue and not just loose skin. Make sure you seek a consultation in your area who have great experience, are overseen by a BC PS or Derm and have excellent RN's running the program. We do our best to set clients up for success, not everyone is a candidate for cool sculpting and should not be. Make sure your goals match the expectations of a noninvasive device. Best of Luck.
Thank you for your question, however results will vary from one individual to the next depending on the amount of fat in each area treated. Coolsculpting is used for body sculpting, in our office we do not measure patients to show the inches lost. However, most patients have seen about a 20% reduction in fat in the area treated after the 1st treatment.
CoolSculpting is a non-invasive solution for patients who want to reduce fat in typical problem areas, such as the abdomen, flanks, inner and outer thighs, and underneath the chin. Treatment with CoolSculpting allows patients to reduce fat up to 25% with each cycle. Some patients can benefit from multiple cycles depending on their individual goals. Patients interested in CoolSculpting should seek out a provider supervised by a board-certified plastic surgeon.
Coolsculpting is an excellent form of non-invasive fat reduction forthe right patient. Some applicators take 1 or 2 hours but the new advantageapplicators take only 35 minutes and have significantly less risk for delayedonset pain (especially in the abdomen). Results are seen at 2 months andtypically 1-3 treatments will be necessary on each area to achieve idealresults. The number of treatments depends on the amount of fat there and thepatient's goals. There is not downtime and the results can be impressivein the right patient. We also use the Zimmer Z-wave for improved patientcomfort and added results. The best candidates are those who are in prettygood shape with areas of stubborn fat that won't go away no matter what. Coolsculpting helps contour the body. It does not always translate into losing inches. My best,Sheila Nazarian, MD, MMMBeverly Hills,Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
I would consider CoolSculpting to produce improvement in body contour rather than necessarily losing inches. Results can vary by individual as well, so some people will notice more of a difference than others after one treatment. Some people will require more than one treatment to obtain the desired result.
This is really variable from person to person. With Coolsculpting, I do recommend adding a combination with radiofrequency treatments such as Vanquish, Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra with Z wave/Cellutone in order to get the best results. VASER Hi Def with ThermiRF, ultrasound and fat grafting are also options, if you're a candidate. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Thank you for your question! Individual results may vary. Each treatment can be expected to reduce fat present at the time by 20-25%. It takes several months to see the full effect of a treatment and may take a few treatments depending on your individual goals. Good luck with moving forward with your treatments. Best of luck!
The results from Coolsculpting vary between patient to patient and depends on the amount of fat each area had that was treated. The procedure is used for body sculpting and is normally not measured by the inches lost on the patient. Most patients have seen and can lose approximately 20% of fat in the area being treated after the first treatment. Please consult with a physician who is certified in Coolsculpting for the best results. Best, Dr. Green

Itching in the area treated with Cool sculpting is a common adverse reaction. It helps to ice the area or take oral Benadryl. If the itching continues for more than a week, you should contact your doctor. Cool sculpting is FDA approved and will not harm your liver. Coolsculpting is an ...
In reviewing your photos it is hard to determine what the nodules or lumps may be. I suggest you have in person consultation with a board certified Dermatologist of Plastic Surgeon to see what the best options would be. I would not suggest having Coolsculpting in these areas again, as...
Thank you for your question. It is not uncommon to have some areas of firmness that resolve over time after CoolSculpting. However, I strongly encourage you to see the physician who performed or oversaw your treatment to ensure that all is normal. An examination by a skilled professional is ...
Congratulations on your bundle of joy! There is no set standard as to when you should do Coolsculpting post pregnancy. Pregnancy can take a toll on your body during the 9-months, that being said, I would recommending waiting 10-12 months post-delivery before having a procedure. Everyone...
CoolSculpting has FDA approval for fat reduction since 2010. CoolSculpting freezes the fat cells. Fat cells are more susceptible to damage by freezing than the other cells, (nerve, vessel, bone, etc.), around them. The fat cells die via a process called apoptosis, (programmed cell death). The...
Provided you are otherwise healthy, you absolutely should be able to reduce your hips with coolsculpting despite the previous fat transfer.
