Juvederm leaves a puffy ring around my lips. New doctor? (photos)

I do feel that Restylane is a better dermal filler for the lip and leads to better overall position. You may have to get all the Juvederm out first then use an alternarive. See an expert injector next time. Best wishes, Dr. Aldo

I'm sorry to say but your lips are overinflated and have lost their natural proportions due to excessive amount of filler. Since you have never been satisfied with previous injections I suggest to try next time much, much smaller volume, the amount that will give the beauty of your own face more balance and order. Honestly, this is poorly placed lip filler. I would recommend seeing someone else for your next treatment. This injector is placing too much product along the vermillion border when in fact you probably only need a small amount of filler injected into the body of the lips. He/she is also over injecting the upper lip, altering the normal ratio between the upper and lower lips. I like Juvederm Ultra and Volbella are my preferred fillers for the lips.

The photos show that there is too much Juvederm placed near the vermillion border and that is why it appears so puffy.  I would recommend Vitrase to have the area dissolved and then start over.  Please consult a board certified dermatologist who has expertise in lip fillers for the best results.  Best, Dr. Green

I do see the problem. I think this is a combination or the injector and the Juvederm. I don't think this can be corrected without complete removal with hyaluronidase. After it's all out, consider Restylane. It stays where injected much better than the others.
