I circled the areas of my scarring. I have mostly rolling scars, and some ice pick ones. Infinii Radio Frequency needling/PRP/Subsicion? Looked for solutions for 22 years, scars are about 22 years old. Spent 10,000 dollars over all the years with: Fraxel Laser on cheeks - 3 treatments, Restylane fillers in right side check and both side jowel area. TCA peel, PRP, Selphyl w/Restylane two cc's on my lower left and right corners of mouth jowl. Selphyl was the most significant change for me.

If they are not tethered to the base of the dermis underneath the scar, then fractional laser or Infini microneedling with radiofrequency would be satisfactory. Fractional erbium requires more numerous and more frequent treatments than fractional carbon dioxide (CO2) laser resurfacing. Hybrid fractional diode and erbium laser with Halo resurfacing requires multiple treatments and even ProFractional treatments and Contour laser, may require more than one treatment.PRP may improve the results but I am still not convinced that I have read a convincing scientific peer-reviewed journal article showing scientifically it's contribution to scar improvement.

Do not underestimate the power of filler in this context, revolumization of your cheeks can 'inflate' depressed scars. As always, combination treatments work best. Selphyl is low concentration and won't offer all the benefits of the higher concentration PRP. Deeper atrophic scars require filler. Bellafill is the filler of choice for these. Ice pick scars will need TCA cross for best results too. Several treatments are needed of each.

If the scars are tethered, subcision is necessary to release the tethering. PRP will enhance the healing. Combination therapy using lasers and fillers also help. Multiple treatments may be necessary.
