Answer: PRP and Infini There are different times to use PRP in conjunction with an infini treatment. Some doctors apply prior to infini to push it into the skin. Others inject it after the microneedling. I prefer injecting PRP into atrophic scars and the skin after an infini treatment and dripping it over the open pores.

Answer: During and After, Over and Under As the others have mentioned, applying PRP during the microneedling process (dripped simultaneously as the needling occurs), allows for penetration through these micro columns created by your microneedling device of choice. I then inject into areas of atrophic scars or tethered areas that have been subscribed. Follow this with a mask and voila, a great combination for scar treatments and rejuvenation.

Answer: Best way to deliver PRP is ... Applying PRP and trying to microneedle into the skin will not work. The best way is to inject the PRP. I usually will do after the procedure. The next best method is to apply to the skin when using a mask to allow it to penetrate for 20-30 minutes. There is a new injector that is needleless that I'm looking into that might work as well.

Answer: PRP techniques Dr Weiner wrapped it all up. I call it the over and under technique. Micro needle or Infni first, the PRP on top. The holes allow PRP to sink into the dermal layers. Super saturation with a mask gives more of the good stuff for longer. Injection under the skin (especially for atrophic scars) is called the UNDER technique- great for hollowed areas, as the injection technique may also subscise at the same time of injection. PRP leads to faster healing times. All the best, Dr Davin Lim. Brisbane. Australia.
