I had Xeomin 2 weeks ago in my forehead dropped to my eyebrows. Swollen and painful, how long will this last? (photo)

They can also recommend over the counter treatments for pain and in you are having an eyelid droop as well. These symptoms can last 6 weeks. Good luck

Xeomin typically lasts about 3-4 months. It can take about a month for a brow that has dropped from Xeomin injections to lift back up. Pain is not normal after Xeomin injection and I would contact your doctor as soon as possible regarding this.

The eye brow correction depends on the muscle in your brow, but can last up to a month. Please go see a. board certified dermatologist for review.

I’m sorry that this has happened. The good news is that this won’t last forever. Without seeing before photos of where your brow sat previously I would give an estimation of it lifting within another 2-4.
Worst case it could last the duration of product life 3-4 months but this would worst case.

I would always advise a review appointment with your practitioner as there maybe some injection points to help with lift.

Neurotoxins like Xeomin usually lasts for 3-4months, it would take a minimum of 7-10 days for it to settle. If your condition does not improve, please contact your injector for a follow up. I’m sorry you are going through a rough time. It is  very unusual to have persistent pain weeks after xeomin injection and as far as drooping is concerned, unfortunately it will take time for it to reverse. You should start seeing improvement within a month and progressive improvement until it is all gone in 3 to 4 months.
