Thanks for your question and the photo you provided. Make sure you follow up with your injector. They know where they injected you and how many units. They can also recommend over the counter treatments for pain and in you are having an eyelid droop as well. These symptoms can last 6 weeks. Good luck
I’m sorry you are going through a rough time. It is very unusual to have persistent pain weeks after xeomin injection and as far as drooping is concerned, unfortunately it will take time for it to reverse. You should start seeing improvement within a month and progressive improvement until it is all gone in 3 to 4 months.
Xeomin typically lasts about 3-4 months. It can take about a month for a brow that has dropped from Xeomin injections to lift back up. Pain is not normal after Xeomin injection and I would contact your doctor as soon as possible regarding this.
Hi Heidi. Botox, Xeomin and Dysport results results take up to 1-2 weeks to settle in, last up to 3 to 4 months, and can be softened with Venus Legacy and Thermage treatments. If the pain persists, follow up with your physician immediately. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer
I’m sorry that this has happened. The good news is that this won’t last forever. Without seeing before photos of where your brow sat previously I would give an estimation of it lifting within another 2-4. Worst case it could last the duration of product life 3-4 months but this would worst case.I would always advise a review appointment with your practitioner as there maybe some injection points to help with lift.I hope this helps, please contact The Absolute Cosmetic Team if you require any further assistance.
Thanks for your question and sorry to hear you are going through some rough times after your Xeomin injection. Neurotoxins like Xeomin usually lasts for 3-4months, it would take a minimum of 7-10 days for it to settle. If your condition does not improve, please contact your injector for a follow up. Always consult with a board certified medical expert for your Xeomin needs.
Thanks for your question and I'm sorry you are still having pain weeks after injection. That is quite unusual. I would definitely recommend returning to your dermatologist and they can evaluate you in person and see what could be going on. If you were not injected by a physician, they may be able to help you, but you will get your best medical advice from an actual physician. Best of luck!
Xeomin locks the release of a chemical called acetylcholine, which triggers the muscle contractions that create wrinkles. Xeomin essentially paralyze the muscles and stops them from contracting. Results from these treatments are visible within 3-7 days with results that can last anywhere from 3-4 months. Follow up with your injector for an in person evaluation to discuss your concerns.
The eye brow correction depends on the muscle in your brow, but can last up to a month. Please go see a. board certified dermatologist for review.
Xeomin lacks the accessory protein that leads to antibody formation. It is worth a try to see if you respond to Xeomin.
Hi! xeomin is not a filler, it is a neurotoxin that helps to stop muscle movement and improve fine lines/wrinkles in the skin. Xeomin can be used for lines above the lip when injected into the correct muscle. Additionally, there are fillers for perioral lines as well that may be a better...
I am unaware of injections like xeomin interfering with dry eye, but always recommend seeing a doctor in person for review.
