I am afraid the fillers to get rid of nasal folds is deepening them by the nose, one side had no folds before. Is this permanent? What should i Do? Please help.
Answer: Deepening of nasolabial folds? Filler results No, this won't cause a permanent change. If you're unhappy with your results, you can have the filler reversed with hyaluronidase. Hope this helps.

Answer: When PROPERLY INJECTED, Fillers Should Not Deepen Folds, But Rather Smooth Them When properly injected, fillers should not only NOT deepen existing folds, but should instead soften and smooth them and make them less prominent. These days (as opposed to twenty years ago), BEFORE simply chasing wrinkles and folds, like the smile folds (nasolabial lines), by simply injecting filler directly into them, experienced injectors instead examine the cheeks and surrounding "frame" of the face to determine whether volume loss in these critical regions underlies the formation of the folds. If so, as it is very often the case, aesthetic physicians simply restore the cheeks directly with a volummizing filler (rather than injecting directly into the smile lines themselves). This is often enough to yield a very natural look and to significantly improve the smile folds. Conversely, by injecting directly into the smile fold, an injector might actually push the wall of the smile upwards, in effect making the fold deeper, which may have been the case here. This deepening can in fact be made even more prominent if the injector through lack of expertise or experience injects the filler directly into the outer wall of the fold itself. Going forward, you should make sure that you consult with a board certified aesthetic physician and insist upon seeing his/her personal before and after photos before agreeing to proceed. Best of luck.

Answer: No, it shouldn't cause deepening of any lines. Thank you for your question! No, it shouldn't cause deepening of any lines. I would recommend waiting 2 weeks after injections ( to let the swelling go down). If still not happy with results, you can return to you injector for additional filler or for hyaluronidase injections to dissolve the filler. Best of luck!

Answer: Nasolabial fold fillers Your nasolabial folds when treated with a filler should only become flatter while obliterating the small lines that are visible running from the nose to your mouth. The fact that the fold appears to be Deeper by your nose is because in comparison to the rest of the nasolabial fold it's still there. If desired, you can have that area filled out as well but make sure you go to someone who is well-versed in the procedure. Good luck from New York City
