I had 1.1ml of Juvéderm in my lips on Friday 20th April. I understand there is an element of swelling & bruising to be expected however, allot of my swelling has reduced over the last 2/3 days, and have noticed my upper lip had a real bulge in the center where my Cupid’s bow is. The area is tingling and feels odd to touch, I can’t move my lip properly and it doesn’t appear to be settling as the days go by, unlike the other swelling I had. I am really panicking that this is a bulk of filler?
Answer: Lip Injections Dear Lorna, You will need to allow 2 weeks for the bruising and swelling to go down fully before results can be seen. Bruising and swelling are very common after lip injections but you can massage gently and daily which may help with softening of the filler. If you're still concerned after the two weeks then return to your injector. Always see a reputable practitioner who is properly qualified. Best Wishes, Mr Golchin

Answer: Juvederm in lips It still is too early to judge the final results since, occasionally, the swelling may last for several days. At this point your lips seem to be quite swollen and very disproportional. If this persists beyond the end of April, you may need to have the volume of your upper lip reduced by dissolving Juvederm. It could be beneficial to visit your injector or at least inform her/him of your concerns. Good luck!
