During my surgery consult my surgeon said she wasn’t sure what size I could get reduced to but she said a D? Maybe a big C? Which I’m not sure about. I’m very active , I used to play sports and would have to wear two bras. I used to workout 4 days a week and even lost 50+ pounds, which all stopped due to how big my breast got. I initially started to workout prior because of how big they were. I have back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain...and this is all documented, opinions?
Answer: Cup size after breast reduction Hi, Thank you for the question. Schnur Sliding Scale is used as guideline for how much breast tissue should be removed in order to improve your physical symptoms, but it is just an estimate. It is difficult to predict the exact cup size, but I typically tell my patients that the goal should be for the breasts to be smaller but also proportionate with the rest of the body. I suggest that you seek an in person consultation with a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon specializing in Breast Reduction surgeries to further discuss your options, specific techniques, concerns and expectations. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. I hope this helps.Best regards, Dr. Karanetz Dr. Irena KaranetzFellowship-TrainedBoard Certified Plastic Surgeon

Answer: I’m 18. my height is 5’2. I weigh 125 pounds. my cup size 36F, is it possible to get reduced to a big B cup? Dear SkyPiink7830, Thank you for your question and photos. It is difficult to say for sure without an in-person consultation, but from looking at your photos and from what you mention that your symptoms are, you may be a good candidate for a breast reduction surgery. This may help to reduce the size and weight of your breasts, while placing the nipple in a more youthful position on the breast mound. It is difficult to promise a potential cup size after surgery, since different stores/brands may measure you differently. I usually tell my patients that they may potentially lose at least half of their breast size and weight. This may potentially help with the neck, back, shoulder pain that mention you are experiencing. I suggest that at this current time, you schedule a virtual or in-person consultation with a board-certified Plastic Surgeon to discuss your specific goals and to develop a plan to best achieve them. Best of luck and stay safe!

Answer: Breast reduction You appear to be a good candidate for breast reduction surgery. It is difficult to state the exact cup size a patient will be after reduction. The surgeon must keep in mind ample blood supply to the tissues as the reduction is performed. Regardless, you should experience improvement in your symptoms and a breast size that is more proportionate to your frame.

Answer: Bellesoma Breast Reduction The goal of breast surgery is two fold: one is to reduce the breasts to the size that is proportionate to your body. I do not recommend you have a preconceived notion that a large B is the correct size for you and two is to relieve neck, back and shoulder pain. This can be achieved with The Bellesoma Method. This will reduce and reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. The weight of the breast is transferred to the underlying pectoralis major muscle resulting in pain relief without excessive reduction. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Breast reduction It is hard for a surgeon to commit to a certain size. It is more important to get a natural shape and appearance. Also bear in mind that the size will reduce considerably over the following months. The worst thing to do is over reduce the breasts which happens too often.
