I had a breast augmentation with saline implants several years ago, can a fat transfer to breasts be done while these are in?
Answer: Yes, you can Yes, you can get a fat transfer with existing implants in place. The most common reasons for this are wanting improved cleavage or upper pole fullness (assuming your implants are in the appropriate place to begin with). If you want to be significantly bigger overall, or have more central projection of your breast, or if your implants are not in an appropriate position, you may need revision of your implants (which can be done at the same time as fat grafting).

Answer: Fat Yes, a fat transfer can be done to actual breast tissue, even with implants, if there is enough breast tissue to support the fat. If you were small before implants, your own tissue has been stretched and thinned and may not support much fat. An examination will tell if you can add fat.
