41 yo female s/p breast implants 425 cc moderate profile mentor saline breast implants, prior to implant I was a 34 A. I had the implants removed in 2015 and ended up with a small B cup. Fast forward to 2022 after loosing about 40 pounds now have lost almost all breast tissue. Was interested in a fat transplant to the breast if possible. My goal is to have a B cup. I cycle/exercise vigorously so would like to avoid implants if possible.
Answer: Fat First, you need donor fat to transfer and your photos show little excess fat. Second, the small size of your breast limits how much fat can be placed. You might need two transfer sessions to obtain the size you want.

Answer: Is it a possibility to become a B cup with a breast fat transfer? (Photo) In general, 200 cc per breast is typically the upper limit of fat injection recommended by most plastic surgeons. It is not that more cannot be injected; but on average, this has been determined to be the most that can be expected to live during one transfer. Multiple transfers would be required for additional cc's. In general, the abdomen and thighs are preferred donor sites but fat from other areas can be used. Some of the retention rate will depend upon the amount of fat transferred, as smaller volumes will likely have a higher survival. Occasionally, a patient can resorb a great deal of the fat despite optimal transfer procedures. Thinner patients are outstanding candidates in my opinion, because the fat transferred is extremely resistant. Results are largely dependent upon the skill of the surgeon, his/her ability to remove fat without creating contour deformities, and your expectations. You would need a consultation with a board certified PS to determine your available fat stores.

Answer: Fat transfer Hi :)Fat transfer is a good option when the goal is to reach a smaller breast size such a B cup. During fat grafting, some of the transferred fat is lost (30-40%) and in some instances, more than 1 round of fat grafting may be necessary to achieve the desired volume. Additional weight loss after the procedure could lead to additional volume loss. If you are satisfied with your current weight and are not trying to lose more, I would recommend you consult a board certified plastic surgeon who can assess if you are a good candidate for this procedure.

Answer: Is it a possibility to become a B cup with a breast fat transfer? Hello @MentorRemoval thank you for your question and showing your pictures. The amount of body fat at the moment must be taken into account when planning the surgery. This is to see how much fat you can have for the new seeding, most likely if you can reach the size you desire since a minimal amount fat is required for the result you expect. For more information and recommendations is best to consult with one or several board certified plastic surgeons. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD, FACS.

Answer: Fat transfer Dear MentorRemoval, fat transfer breast augmentation is a viable alternative for women who desire larger breasts without the use of implants. Fat transfer is also widely used in reconstruction of the breast after a mastectomy or lumpectomy. It can also be very effective in correcting the size and shape of the breasts due to genetic problems such as tuberous breast or Poland Syndrome, two conditions that look like misshapen or underdeveloped breasts. In addition, the following scenarios are also reason to consider breast fat grafting:• If you have chest areas that appear creased and sunken• If you desire more permanent correction than is provided by temporary fillers• If you wish to improve your body contour, revise scars, fill bodily depressions and rejuvenate the natural curve of your breasts• To fill in contour irregularities or hide obvious signs of breast implantsYou should discuss your concerns with a board certified plastic surgeon and make sure your surgeon understands your concerns and your breast augmentation goals. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.
