What can I do to help even out the skin texture on my nose? I'm getting facials every week and have tried chemical peels.

I've always had large pores, especially on my nose. I've tried getting facials every week, I've tried chemical peels and nothing seems to help this strawberry pitting appearance. The skin is very thick, always clogged with filaments and has an uneven texture.

Weekly facials may be a little too much for your skin. Sometimes our skin over produces oil when it is over processed but larger pores on the nose are also very common. I would recommend adding a retinol serum or glycolic serum to your daily regimen to help exfoliate your skin and keep your pores from getting clogged. I would also recommend doing facials on a monthly basis and possibly a chemical peel once every 3-6 months for maintenance.

Our treatments use combination therapy to improve the epidermis and dermis for most deep scars. The options available for acne scars depend on the character of your scars, in terms of topography and contour. We see atrophic and hypertrophic acne scars, as well as scars that have hypo and hyperpigmentation. We begin each scar evaluation with an assessment of scar quality and subtype. Our main concern is rebuilding collagen and that is why we use a HIDEF protocol that includes combination therapy. Morpheus 8, scar subcision, fibrous release, fractional laser, CO2 laser, Thulium laser, PDL Vbeam laser, and fractional resurfacing can be used in addition to TCA Cross and chemical peels to further improve skin. Patients should start Melarase AM and Melarase PM for active hyperpigmentation. Always begin with a consultation to decide whether early subcision should be started.

Moxi is a ligher laser and helps with pores, we love it every 4-8 weeks along with peels between at home peels like cosmelan, enlighten and aerify along with dermarolling (MTS roller with anteage MD ampules weekly, see link) should be started now to prevent further aging. Great question! Microneedling may be a good choice for you.  The purpose of this treatment is to generate new collagen, which makes the skin look smoother, firmer and more even toned.  We can treat scars,wrinkles and its very effective for shrinking large pores.  I hope this suggestion helps.

Large pores on our nose can be a nuisance! I would absolutely recommend trying microneedling. Such a great treatment for large pores. It will also help even out the tone and texture of the skin. Hope this helps!

Hello, I would recommend perhaps a microdermabrasion or silkpeel.  Both of those devices can help with cleaning our the pores.  Medical Spas can really address these issues.  I would search a spa in the area that has Silkpeel.

A variety of treatments can help with the appearance of large pores.  Skin care such as pore refiners may also help to reduce symptoms.  Also laser treatment and micro needling are other good options.
