What can I do to speed up the process and help the healing? It is very embarrassing and it is all over my chin and some on my forehead. She took off the dead skin and more. I just need something to get back to normals since I do work.

Answer: Scabbing after facial Hi. I would go back to the aesthetician that treated you. She may have a post treatment cream that will help. You may also have a product sensitivity and you may want to know what it is for future treatments. Best wishes to you .

Answer: Scabbing and redness after a facial First of all, you should make sure that the woman who gave you the facial is aware of your reaction. It sounds as though she was overly aggressive as a regular facial should not cause scabbing. There are several easy things you can do to reduce the inflammation and speed up the healing. Honey is very anti-inflammatory. Apply a thin layer of honey to your face and allow it to sit for 10-15 mins before rinsing off. Do this 4-5 times daily until the skin is healed. Make sure that you are using a good sunscreen whenever you are outside. Applying a product that contains growth factors can also speed up healing. The one I like is Skin Medica's TNS Recovery Complex. Red light treatments can also speed healing up.
