I dont have much acne but what I've gotten on my face lately are white bumps. Similar to a white head. I saw a dermatologist and she recommended I get a facial with extractions. But how safe is an extraction and wont it leave scarring or open pores? Also my face is very sensitive and tends to dry out very fast.
Answer: Hydrafacial is a great way to help clear up stubborn breakouts. Follow with LaseMD and chemical peels Our treatments use combination therapy to improve the epidermis and dermis for most deep scars. The options available for acne scars depend on the character of your scars, in terms of topography and contour. We see atrophic and hypertrophic acne scars, as well as scars that have hypo and hyperpigmentation. We begin each scar evaluation with an assessment of scar quality and subtype. Our main concern is rebuilding collagen and that is why we use a HIDEF protocol that includes combination therapy. Morpheus 8, scar subcision, fibrous release, fractional laser, CO2 laser, Thulium laser, PDL Vbeam laser, and fractional resurfacing can be used in addition to TCA Cross and chemical peels to further improve skin. Patients should start Melarase AM and Melarase PM for active hyperpigmentation. Always begin with a consultation to decide whether early subcision should be started. Answer: Facial with extractions Hello msanchez2017 My name is Melanie I am a Medical Aesthetician at Aesthetic Skin located in Chicago, IL. You are the perfect candidate for a facial with extractions. Extractions when performed correctly are completely safe and will not leave scarring. When extractions are done correctly during a facial the pores are actually left much more refined making the appearance much smaller. A HydraFacial is also a very good option. HydraFacial provides deep exfoliation and painless extractions through suction the treatment can be customized through vortex tips, peels and boosters. I would love to discuss this with you further please give our office a call if you have any further questions or would like to schedule a virtual or in person consultation 312-944-0117. We look forward to hearing from you!

Answer: Facial with Extractions A medical esthetician with experience should be able to help improve your skin's complexion with a nice, soothing facial without leaving scarring. Depending on your skin type, they should also be able to choose the appropriate type of facial peel that will be most ideal.

Answer: Msanchez2017 Looking at the photo you posted I would recommend a series of deep pore cleansing facial to extract the whiteheads. There are so many different procedures that would address this issue you are having. Remember that everyone's skin is different some people have more sensitivity then others. I recommend you start with the basic treatments first such as the facial I recommended and see how your skin reacts. If there is no changes than I would proceed to a more aggressive treatment. Facial extraction should be done gently and with precaution not to exceed the limit of a simple extraction. As for your dry skin and sensitivity you should be on proper skin care regime that will correct your issue. You already know that your dry and sensitive so you must use the appropriate products.
