I had a BBL with liposuction to my stomach I had a car accident three years ago and had trauma to my stomach I was looking to have repairs done because it’s lopsided my stomach area I’m not sure if I would need to tell me tuck or liposuction or balls so that’s my concern
Answer: Liposuction vs Abdominoplasty Thank you for your question. Based on the photos you have provided, I would recommend an abdominoplasty to give you the best aesthetic. While liposuction does an excellent job at removing excess fat from the body, you will be left with excess skin. An abdominoplasty would remove that excess skin, repair the rectus muscles, and create a more youthful appearing umbilicus. I also tend to liposuction the flanks at the time of the procedure to create an hourglass figure for my patients. I recommend speaking to a board certified plastic surgeon for evaluation and to discuss your options.

Answer: Tummy tuck Dear hottea, based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a TT. Full tummy tuck should tighten your abdominal muscles and remove the excess skin. Flanks liposuction would give you a better shape. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Lipo irregularity What can be done to fix uneven contour from previous lipo procedure? The definitive correction for liposuction deformities requires the advanced technology of ultrasound assisted VASER liposuction. As an official trainer of VASER liposuction, I encounter suboptimal liposuction outcome referrals weekly. VASER liposuction has been the only modality that has consistently corrected liposuction caused deformities. VASER liposuction ensures a smooth contour regardless of severity of contour irregularities by virtue of being able to remove any and all remaining fat comprehensively and uniformly. Finally, when skin redundancy irregularities are observed, Renuvion technology can be simultaneously applied to tighten your skin to optimize your overall contour outcome. The tummy tuck procedure would comprehensively remove excess skin and fat in the abdominal region. The abdominal muscle would also be 'tightened' to create the appearance of a flatter stomach. Skype or FaceTime consultation with a VASER specialist will help you get an accurate recommendation and pricing. Respectfully, Arian Mowlavi MD, FACS Realself 100 Hall of Fame Inductee

Answer: Choosing procedurs It looks like a full tummy tuck is the correct procedure for you. It’s very important that during a full tummy tuck the surgeon needs to exercise your midline scar and redo that incision. The scar tissue in your current midline incision has no pliability and if not exercised during surgery will hamper the ability to remove excess skin. I suggest having a few in person consultations with local board-certified plastic surgeons. During consultations confirm with each provider if they plan on cutting out the midline scar as part of the tummy tuck procedure. not doing so well severely hamper what could be achieved. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
