Am I a good candidate for upper eyelid surgery? (Photo)

Hello, I'm currently in my late twenties, specifically 29 years old, and I'm considering getting a surgery known as upper eyelid surgery. I'm wondering if this procedure will have any noticeable benefits for me. The main reason I'm interested in this surgery is to enhance and improve the overall appearance of my eyes, aiming for a more lively and rejuvenated look. I want to mention that in 2021, I had a surgery called a craniotomy to remove a non-cancerous brain tumor.

You don't need a blepharoplasty (upper eyelid surgery).  What problem are you having with your eyes?  More information is helpful.

Hello and thank you for question. Based on your photos, it does not appear as if you have enough excess upper eyelid skin to warrant surgery at this time. Surgery is not without risk and there does not seem to be an indication at this time. You could request a slight brow lift from a neuromodulator such as Botox.

You have subtle ptosis and crepey eyelid platform skin. There is a compensatory eyebrow elevation on the left side. The lateral canthal corners are off. Surgery to address these separate issues with an upper blepharoplasty, anchor blepharoplasty, ptosis repair, and lateral canthoplasty. For the lower eyelid circle, this will respond beautifully to carefully performed under eye filler with Hyaluronic acid filler. Do not let anyone operate on the lower eyelids or inject fat. These measures will wreck your lower eyelids. Do not do that to yourself.

A conservative skin only upper eyelid surgery can accomplish, lifting the crease on your upper lids, especially on your right side, where your more hooded. This procedure can be performed under local anesthesia as an outpatient procedure, and usually takes about 30 minutes.
