Would I benefit from upper eyelid surgery? (Photo)

Question

Hello, I am 29 years old and considering upper eyelid surgery. Will I experience advantages from undergoing this procedure? My desire is to enhance the appearance of my eyes, giving them a more alert and rejuvenated look, while also reducing the fatigue caused by drooping eyelids.

You are quite young for this procedure but nonetheless, I believe you could have a nice result from this procedure.  You do happen to have a fuller upper lid that weighs down on your lash line so a skin only upper lid bleph could brighten your eyes significantly.

I would recommend a browlift. Your eyebrows are below the level of the orbital rim and they should be higher. Also, your hairline is quite high. You can have a frontal hairline incision to bring the hairline lower, make you look younger, decrease the width of the forehead and put the eyebrows in a more appropriate place.

From the one limited frontal photograph, you have very mild extra skin on your upper lids. Your right eye is worse than your left because your right eyebrow is lower than your left eyebrow. A very conservative skin only upper blepharoplasty under local anesthesia could give you some improvement. If you're complaining of eyelid droopiness, it's important to make sure you don't have any ptosis present.
