3 Rhinoplasties, bump every time, is there any hope? (Photos)

Question

I have gotten now 1 Rhinoplasty and 2 revision rhinoplasties because a bump forms on my nose and my skin is thin. Ive spoken to my surgeon about it and they did all 3 procedures, at firat my nose always looks good but within the year it looks torally different than from surgery. Its been emotionally draining to repeat this process and still get unfavorable results (pictures shared after each rhino). Other people get surgery once ans gave perfect noses. Why does this happen? Is there any hope? I waa thinking about getting a fourth revision but everyone tells me to stop obsessing, it would be w a different surgeon since the 3 have been with the same person. do i just give up? Any opinion would be great here

Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photographs, you are a great candidate for a revision rhinoplasty. Maneuvers for your surgery would include dorsal hump reduction, tip refinement, nasal tip deprojection, tip elevation, among other maneuvers. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

The bump is likely due to loss of support of your septal cartilage. The surgeon is probably trying to reduce the bone each time which is only making things worse. We'd likely get this right by repairing the missing cartilage.  You absolutely have hope.
