Is it better to wait on regenerative medicine, anti-fibrotics and 3D printed scaffold before aiming to restore my original nose?

AskaQuestionToYouFeb 25, 2026

I severely regret my rhinoplasty and want to return to my original nose. I understand that regenerative medicine innovations may take decades, but an accurate restoration of my original features is not possible with current techniques, I assume. Furthermore, I'd rather not have rib or ear cartilage grafts, and want a removal of my SEG, and restoration of a more natural anatomy, with a flexible, mobile tip, bulbous nose, wide nasal bones and a convex nasal profile with a dorsal hump, and slight droop and derotation in the tip, and if possible even some crookedness in the bridge. If 3D printed scaffolds in the future can imitate my original nasal shape with high precision, it is probably worth the wait to regain my original nose, and improve skin contour by slight reversal and inhibition and removal of scar tissue by anti-fibrotics and modernized revision rhinoplasty surgery techniques. In short: if current surgical techniques are not advanced enough, or come with complications, for a precise restoration of nose shape and flexibility, I guess it is better to wait with revision until science has advanced enough? I am willing to wait 15 years if necessary.
