What would the volume of 205 grams Natrelle Inspira implants be?

Hello, the size of implants measured either in volume or grams is quite similar, so the result of an augmentation with either 205g vs 205cc silicone gel implants would likely be comparable as well.

I hate to say it but this doesn't make sense.  In the US, no Plastic Surgeon that I know of measures breast implants by weight (grams).  We all use fill volume (cc).  As such, what this person told you makes no sense whatsoever.I would call the office and ask for your operative note and the product stickers.  These should clearly tell you what size you really have. I hope that helps!

I am not sure about the USA, but here in the UK and generally in Europe some manufacturers measure their implants in cc (a measure of volume), and others in grams (a measure of weight). Specifically, Allergan uses grams.There is no direct and easy conversion between the two units, because the volume of one gram of silicone gel depends on the density of the specific type of gel. Trying to give you a rough idea, one gram is slightly smaller, in volume, than one cc. Therefore, you could assume that 205g equal, more or less, 195/200cc.In reality, the difference is so small that a lot of surgeons would treat the units as equivalent, and some may not even be aware of the difference.If your implants are measured in grams, this should be easy to find out looking at the labels that your surgeon surely gave you after the procedure.
