I'm 5'1, 120 pounds with a BWD of 24cm. I got my BA done yesterday and having looked at my warranty papers I realised I was given a full profile implant instead of a moderate profile (which is what I requested and on my notes) I know I have a wide BWD. Is there much difference between the 265cc full profile and the 275cc moderate profile? I am wondering whether I need to ask for a revision. I wanted a very natural look.
Answer: Wrong implants? The difference between the two implants is not very big. In some patients who have sufficient breast tissue, you may not notice a difference at all... that being said, remember that a small asymmetry is normal, no two breasts are identical and if you think you have a small asymmetry now, having the implant exchanged for the other one may still leave you with some asymmetry. That's normal. So consider if you really want a revision.

Answer: Implants The first thing you should do is talk to your surgeon to find out why you given a different implant from the one that was originally planned. While the difference may not be readily apparent, it's better if you discuss this with your surgeon. I also recommend you wait until about 4 months after surgery before you assess your results. You may like what you see and stick with the implants that you've been given. Best of luck.

Answer: Given wrong implant: Natrelle Inspira 265cc full profile vs 275cc Mod profile. What's the difference? Should I ask for revision? I am sorry to hear about the concerns you have after breast augmentation surgery. The difference in breast implants that you mention in your question are probably not noticeable clinically. Your plastic surgeon will be able to tell you why he/she made the decisions that he/she made; most likely the decision had to do with implant selection based on intraoperative measurements (dimensional planning). As you know, it is much too early to evaluate the outcome of the procedure performed and/or the need for revisionary breast surgery. I would suggest that you occupy your mind and be patient during the recovery process. Evaluate the results of the procedure performed 6 months from now. Best wishes; hopefully you will be very pleased and not be concerned about revisionary breast surgery.

Answer: Wrong implants I would suggest that you discuss with your surgeon - there may well be a very logical and reasonable reason why your surgen used the implants she/he did. If not, I would suggest you allow the healing process to play out and realistically evaluate your results at 6 months - I suspect that you will likely not need or want a revision.
