My LDL is 121 and my Non HDL is 137. I have the Tummy Tuck surgery scheduled for 3 weeks, and these are my pre op results. I have never had high cholesterol before. I have been doing the Keto Diet and I have been eating a lot of cheese.

Answer: Can I have a Tummy Tuck with my cholesterol levels high? LDL, or low-density lipoprotein, is the "bad" cholesterol. A high LDL level can lead to a buildup of cholesterol in your arteries. LDL levels should be less than 100; below 70 if coronary artery disease is present. Ideal HDL is 60 or higher; 40 or higher for men and 50 or higher for women is acceptable. Your current cholesterol levels will not prevent you from having a TT, but your PCP will note their fluctuations during annual exams and provide guidance in keeping them within a healthy range.

Answer: Tummy tuck I’m surprised that you even had those tests done. In a case like yours we would only perform a blood count plus and EKG if over 50 years old. Your surgeon will Ultimately make the decision but I doubt it will be a problem.
