Dear Kweenkesha, based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a TT. Full tummy tuck should tighten your abdominal muscles and remove the excess skin. Flanks liposuction would give you a better shape. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Your would enjoy enhanced results and reduce the risks of complications during and after surgery if you can lower your current BMI of 33.8 (197 lbs) to 30 (weight 175 lbs) with exercise and dietary modifications. Liposuction can be performed at the same time as a TT provided it is limited to certain areas. It is safe to do liposuction of the flanks or sides at the same time but not the mid or upper abdominal area. The reason for this is that the blood supply to the abdominal skin/tissue can be jeopardized and compromised which can lead to serious wound healing complications and infection. A TT with muscle tightening will create a flat abdomen and would also provide the benefit of placing your incision along the lower pubic region. The TT also creates a more youthful belly button. If the waist was smaller at one time, the waist can likely be reduced to those same measurements or smaller provided the muscular and fascial integrity has remained the same.
You would be a better candidate for a tummy tuck rather than lipo alone. A tummy tuck would allow your surgeon to address muscle wall separation that often occurs during pregnancy. It also allows for the removal of excess skin. Liposuction can be combined with this procedure to further contour your curves.
Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photographs, you will benefit from a tummy tuck, MR and 360 lipo. In order to achieve the best possible outcome, you should undergo these procedures when you are stable at your goal weight. I wish you the best of luck. Vasileios Vasilakis, MD. Fellowship-trained plastic surgeon.
Hello, thank you for your question and pictures. The best indication for you is a full tummy tuck and muscle repair combined with 360 liposuction + BBL. By combining these procedures we can remove the skin excess on the abdomen and also localized fat in waist and back. Is advised for you BMI to be under 33 so it would be good for you to loose at least 10 pounds before surgery. Make sure to approach to a certified surgeon to help you clear all your doubts.Best wishes!
