I'm almost 53 I have type 2 diabetes had high cholesterol and fatty liver. I have always been very concerned about my stomach and not having buttocks. I would appreciate professional and board certificate surgeons to guide me. Cost of the procedure as well to make sure I can do it. Thank you in advance.
Answer: Tummy tuck candidate Dear cambios21, as long as your diabetes is well controlled, you can get tummy tuck. Based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a BBL. Liposuction of your abdomen, back and flanks should give you more curves and hourglass shape and fat transfer to buttocks should give you more projection. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Can I get tummy tuck and lipo with fat transfer with type 2 diabetes (had high cholesterol and fatty liver)? (Photos) If you are otherwise healthy with a BMI of 30 or below, and your type 2 diabetes is under control, you could be a candidate for a tummy tuck. Your board certified plastic surgeon will require clearance from your PCP.

Answer: Tummy tuck with mesh Your diabetes has to be under control and you will need medical clearance from your primary care physician. I recommend abdominoplasty with mesh reinforcement. The mesh creates a more hourglass figure by compressing the abdominal wall resulting in early satiety and helps maintain a reduced weight. After this, you can consider a Brazilian butt lift. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Can I get tummy tuck and lipo with fat transfer with type 2 diabetes (had high cholesterol and fatty liver)? Thank you for your pictures and questions. If you diabetes is under good control, and your BMI is less than 30, then you likely would be a candidate for surgery. I advise against doing a tummy tuck and BBL at the same time, I would decide which one is more important to you and spend the money to find the right surgeon, now is not the time to bargain shop. Hope this helps! Dallas Buchanan, MD VIVIFY plastic surgery Tampa, FL
