I suggest getting this evaluated.  I have seen a few times mucoceles develop, which are glands in the lip, after filler injections.  If this is filler, it is easily reversed with an enzyme.  Best, Dr. Emer.

I recommend that you make an appointment with your injecting Physician.  Sometimes such areas can be incised and the bleb of HA gel expressed and sometimes it is better to dissolve the product with a hyaluronidase injection. It is doubtful that this will resolve spontaneously. 

It is recommended for you to have a follow up appointment with the physician who performed the injections. The area on the lower lip may be incised and drained to compress. Depending of the cause of the area, it may need a steroid injection.

I would follow up with your injector for further management. Massage is good advice however you may benefit from hyaluronidase in order to dissolve some of the product and help the bump go away.

In general, lumps after a filler injection treatment can be due to swelling, a bruise, or a contour issue with the filler. Swelling will subside with time as will a bruise. If this is too much filler in one area, it can be dissolved by injecting Hyaluronidase, an enzyme that dissolves the hyaluronic Acid, but almost all of it will go away with this treatment, even the areas that you may be happy with.

Massages and see your injecting doc in very close follow up if possible even 4 hours away. BTW why use a PS 4 hours away for filler injections??? Or find a more local injecting doc to render care but you will have to pay for that service/treatment/advise... There are over 80+ boarded PSs in South Florida....

This is not a small lump.  It could be infected because it is tender.  It needs to be seen and hyaluronidase needs to be used at least.  I like cannulas for lip injections.  Steve Weiner, MD, Facial Plastic Surgeon, Destin.

Based on the photograph, you will need to have your plastic surgeon check and correct. The product appears to have accumulated in the bottom lip, and you may need to have your plastic surgeon inject hyaluronidase to dissolve it. This is unlikely a bump that you will be able to be resolve by you massaging it.

You need to go back to the physician, sorry. That is not a lump that you can resolve on your own with massaging, heat, or ice. You need to see your injector and most likely have a small amount of hyaluronidase injected to remove it. "This answer has been solicited without seeing this patient and
