Going back Tuesday to get my second set of injections for the lines that run from corner to the nose to the lip. Last time I needed a full syringe. Results are good, lines are softened, but I want them to be gone. I don't have enough money for another full syringe so I was wondering if the doctor can only use a half a syringe and still give me good results.

Answer: Can half a syringe of Juvederm be injected? Your injector can purchase smaller syringes of Juvederm. I definitely don't recommend splitting 1 cc syringes or using partial syringes. When someone is injecting your face with a dermal filler you want to ensure that it is sterile and right out of the package. The risk doesn't justify the potential savings. I typically do not, because people are paying for my expertise and time, not only for the product. And rarely does anyone need only a small amount. Most of the time there is somewhere you can put a tube. I suggest discussing this with your physician. There is nothing that will get rid of lines completely. Fillers make lines and contour better.
