Can half a syringe of Juvederm be done? (Photo)

question.Yes, Juvederm comes in half syringes, but not all offices carry it. You may want to call ahead of time to make sure the office you visit has it in stock....or, they will need to order it for you.

There are smaller sized tubes but it depends if the doctors office offers that.  I typically do not, because people are paying for my expertise and time, not only for the product.  And rarely does anyone need only a small amount.  Most of the time there is somewhere you can put a tube.  I suggest discussing this with your physician.  There is nothing that will get rid of lines completely.   Fillers make lines and contour better. Yes, Juvederm does come in 0.4 cc syringes, with the more popular "full" syringes containing 1.0 cc. Just inquire if the practice carries the smaller syringes, many do.I hope this helps.

Juvederm does come in 0.4 cc syringes and can be used for small changes - a little perk in the upper lip or adding a little to the nasolabial fold.  Unfortunately the syringe that is less than half of a full syringe is more than half the cost of a full syringe.  It appears that the left nasolabial fold may need a little more than 0.4 cc.  However, your doctor will be able to determine which is best for you by examining you and palpating what was placed previously.  

Juvederm is available in a 0.4 cc syringe size. However, this tends to be more appropriate for slight correction of the lips. Depending on your objectives, you may want to maintain using a 1.0 cc syringe.

Your injector can purchase smaller syringes of Juvederm. I definitely don't recommend splitting 1 cc syringes or using partial syringes. When someone is injecting your face with a dermal filler you want to ensure that it is sterile and right out of the package. The risk doesn't justify the potential savings. Allergan does sell .4cc syringes of Juvederm.  You can ask your doctor to see if he or she would be willing to order you half a syringe and figure out how much less it would cost.  It may make more sense however, to wait a bit longer and when financially comfortable, use a full syringe for a more pronounced and longer lasting effect.   

Most likely no. because the Juvederm comes in 1 cc syringes. And once opening that syringe it becomes yours.... As for discount on second syringe... 

The FDA intends a filler syringe to be used at one setting for one patient.  It cannot be saved for another date nor split with another patient (unless you are breaking the rules).
